Jan 21st Follow Friday & Book Blogger Hop

Follow Friday is a meme hosted by Rachel at Parajunkee's View. Every week, book bloggers have a chance to connect and check out each other's blogs. Check it out to sign up and participate, or just check it out to check out some great blogs! This is my seventh week participating. This week's question:

Who do you cheer for?

Since I'm a Sconnie I cheer for the Packers and the Badgers, but to be honest, I'm not really into football. Occasionally I'll watch a game, but the following two conditions must be met before I turn the channel to ESPN:

1.) The game has to be somewhat important, like the playoffs or the Rose Bowl.
2.) All episodes of Bones airing on TV at the time of the game are reruns.

What can I say? I have my priorities. Brennan and Booth are much more entertaining than a bunch of spandex-wearing dudes trying to push a ball down a field (no offense football fans, no offense). Though...when somebody makes an interception that's pretty cool.

And if you do one Follow Meme, why not do two? The more the merrier! The Book Blogger Hop is a meme hosted by Jennifer at Crazy for Books. Like Follow Friday, It's a place for book bloggers to connect, and "hop" from one another's blogs to get to know each other. Jennifer also asks a question to kick off the conversations. This is my eight Book Blogger Hop. Er...or, I guess that it would be my eight Book Blogger Hop if there was one this week.

Hi Emi! Following you now-- love your blog! I'm not a big sports fan, either, and honestly football is one of my least favorites. (Agreed, it's all of those spandex-wearing dudes.) Anyway, happy Friday and I hope you have a great weekend. :)

Thanks so much, Kat! I totally agree with you--I'm not really into sports to begin with, but if I HAD to pick a sport to watch it wouldn't be football. Maybe hockey? At least it's fast-paced. Anyway, a happy weekend to you too! Thanks again. <3

I am hockey fan, but that's the only sport I can watch. The rest tend to bore me. :-)

I basically do the same thing. My family is all from Wisconsin, so they root for the Packers and Badgers too. Well, everyone except my stepdad--he's from MN, so he cheers for the Vikings. We like to tease him when they lose. xD Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend, Nina! :)

Who do I cheer for? When I follow sports at all (and that hasn’t been much lately) I follow people and teams who impress and inspire me.

OMG, you like Bones too?! AWESOME! *glomps* Power to us! I love that show. I'm so glad that they've started airing new episodes again. I was getting antsy. I gotta get my fix of Brennan and Booth and the Squint Squad, you know? Especially since the upcoming episodes promise to be exciting. <3

I'm addicted to it, and I got my boyfriend addicted to it. XD I'm so behind though. I watched all the seasons on instant Netflix, and I just finished Season 5, so I have to wait for foreverrrr for anything new to pop up. ;_;

There are some sites online that allow you to watch a handful of the most recent Bones episodes. I think the Bones homepage has more information about that (or even has the episodes) if you want to check it out. :P
